The memory of Thelma Marie Taylor of Climax, Michigan, who passed away on December 1, 2024 at the age of 89, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles O. Schneider and Pauline I. Schneider (Hoskins); her sister Bonnie Valkner; her grandson Richard C. T. Hastings; and her close friend Clare VanMiddlesworth.
She is survived by: her daughters, Laura Schneider, Teresa Hoffman (Rick Major), Pamela Burrel (Ricky) and Melessa Taylor (Miranda Moore); her grandchildren, Elizabeth Schneider, Rebecka Hastings (Ashley Leger), Jessica Wright (Joe Novak), Christina Storto (Danny), Richard Burrel and Rickia Kelly (Carlos); her great grandchildren, Michael, Jameson, Jaycob, Jada, Isabella, Dominic, Dominique, Saint, Khairi and Karliana; her sisters, Joyce Harrison and Leila "Tootie" Knowles (Roger); and her aunt Barbara Holcomb.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Kempf Family Funeral and Cremation Services (2838 Capital Ave SW, Battle Creek, MI 49015). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Thelma's memory may be made to Climax-Scott's Music Boosters, Centrica Rose Arbor Place, Climax United Methodist Church or Scotts United Methodist Church.
