We bid farewell to Leon V. Piper of Climax, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 19, 2024 at the age of 80. Leon touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the sacred silence of farewell, Leon is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Leon's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold N. Piper and Barbara E. Piper (Martin); and his brother Philip R. Piper. He is survived by: his wife Karen Piper (Potter); his daughter Lisa Piper-English (Willie); and his granddaughters, Dharia Bree Piper-Owens and Dharia Bree. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 23rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Baxter Funeral & Cremation Service (375 W Dickman Rd, Battle Creek, MI 49037).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Centrica Care Navigators Rose Arbor Hospice in memory of Leon.
