He was predeceased by: his wife Marjorie Piper; his parents, Harland Piper and Lula Piper; and his siblings, Marian, Margaret, Harriett, George, Gale and Gerald.
He is survived by: his spouse RosaLee Piper (Olds); his children, NanLee Palmatier (Mike), Garth Piper, Jr. (Lynette), Gilbert Piper (Tracey) and Garland Piper (Dee); his stepchildren, Linda Piper (Jerry), Ellen Copeland (Tom), Avon Selby (Sandy), Alan Selby (Jennifer), Carla Erskine (Bud), Carol Case (Scott) and Carmen Smoke; his grandchildren, Tony, Lydia, Garrett, Grant, Megan, Chelsey, Alex, Maddie, Rob, Scott, Jeff, Mike, Crystal, LouAnn, Tom, Kevin, Matt, Kelly, Valerie, Kari, Heather, Michelle and Mindy; and his sisters, Ione Coburn and Marilyn Oswalt.
