Ann J. (Hammond) Kidston Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ann J. (Hammond) Kidston of Climax, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 23, 2025 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her parents, Doctor Walter Wesley, Jr. and Eleanor Hammond (McGee); her former husband Roger; her brother Walter Hammond III; and her son-in-law Jim Keyes.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Kidston, Cynthia "Cindy" Keyes and Kevin Kidston (Sarah "Sally"); her grandchildren, Justin Keyes, Jacob Kidston (Shinzana), Allison Kidston and Kayla Kidston; her great grandchildren, Leah Keyes and Wesley Keyes; her brother Hobart Hammond; and her caregivers, Beth, Mark Drallette and Dennette Schettner. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Langeland Family Funeral Homes, Burial & Cremation Services (411 E Centre Ave, Portage, MI 49002).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Wings of Hope Hospice, to the Kalamazoo First Congregational Church or to the Kalamazoo Loaves & Fishes.
