He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Williams and Albertine Williams (Dupuis); his wife Patricia Ann Williams; and his sister Judith Williams. He is survived by: his children, Shawn Smith (Robert) of North Branch, Stephen Williams (Amy) of Allenton, Dale Williams of Garden City, Timothy Williams of Flint and Suzanne Headla of Flint. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
