He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Steele and Neta Steele (DeCoe); his grandson Kevin Curell; and his brother-in-law Patrick O'Rourke. He is survived by: his wife Gertrude Ruhlman; his children, Barb Curell (Bill), Joe Steele, Mike Steele (Kristie) and Doug Steele; his grandchildren, Kim Curell, Brian Curell, Mason Steele and Lindsey Steele; and his siblings, Vera O'Rourke and David Steele (Kathleen). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; many close and caring friends.
