He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearl Klug (Sass) and Bill Klug (Willard); his sister Janet; his aunt Goldie; his grandmother Sass; and his granddaughter Serena Whittkopf.
He is survived by: his children, Donald Whittkopf Jr. (Karen) and Donna Sierakowski; and his brother David Klug (Joan). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren.
