She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Adams and Marie Adams (McConnell); her son James Rittenhouse; and her brothers, Dwight Buffenbarger, Ralph Adams and John Adams.
She is survived by: her husband James Rittenhouse; her daughter Debra Roe of Adrian; her grandchildren, Amanda Butz (Joshua) of Clayton and Andrew Rittenhouse of Clayton; her great grandchildren, Addison, Trevor Butz and Easton Rittenhouse; and her sister Sally Hays of Tennessee. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Lenawee.
