She was predeceased by: her parents, Seward Shepherd and Velma Shepherd (Smith); her husband Jim; her son Jeffrey W Marvin; and her siblings, Sharon Brittain and Warren Shepherd.
She is survived by: her children, Julie Marvin-Manders of Onsted, Janis Montalvo (Edward) of Tecumseh, Jimmy Marvin (Maria) of Manitou Beach and Joseph Marvin (Danya) of Phoenix, AZ; her grandchildren, Benjamin Montalvo (Katy), Elisabeth Butz (Reilly), Taylor, Jessica Manders, Jennifer Brewington (Ty), Jeffrey, Mallory Marvin, Emelia, Bridget, Grace, Max, James, Abraham, Vivian and Alex Marvin; her great grandchild Oliver James Montalvo; and her sister Carol Brooks of Adrian.
In true Joy tradition, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, the money be donated to the Jeffrey William Marvin Scholarship fund, Hospice of Lenawee, Sacred Heart Church, or the amazing charity of your choice.
