He was predeceased by: his parents, Philemon T. Bournes and Ruby D. Bournes (Jackson); his wife Paula Wirick; and his sisters, Joyce Bakewell and Phyllis Rowe.

He is survived by: his sister Betty Butcher of Arizona. He is also survived by numerous cousins; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Lenawee or to the Lenawee Humane Society.
