He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace E. Burgess and Lillian G. Burgess (Caliguri); and his siblings, Karen S. Funk and Mark S. Burgess. He is survived by: his daughters, Rachel Broder (Daniel Sequeira) and Ashley Kozlowski (Adam); his close friend Laurette Thomas; his grandchildren, Jacob Burgess (Raeanne), Travis Broder, Katelyn Broder, Madyson Broder, Riley Broder, Cassidy Broder, Nathan Burgess, Kenzley Burgess, Anden, Colton Kozlowski and Melody Kozlowski; his great grandchildren, Parker Gerovac and Callan Carbon; his siblings, Patricia Upton-Kabot (John Gilbert) and Perry Burgess; his friend Janet Ashcraft (late Steve); and also, Rita Thomas and Amanda Thomas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
