It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Austin of Clay Township, Michigan, born in Chatham, Michigan, who passed away on August 11, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredrick Austin and Veva Austin; and his siblings, Gene Austin and Betty Raska. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Agnes Hart; his children, Robert Jr. (Lupe) of Naperville, IL, Nancy Halverson (Michael) of Clarks Hill, IN, Kirk (Hanley) of Elgin, IL, Scott (Liz) of Lexington and Burt (Debbie) of Grosse; his grandchildren, Jessica Bowyer (Chris), Andrew Halverson and Sean Austin (Grace); his great grandchildren, Ella, Ezra and Emery; and his siblings, Jack Austin (Mary), Mary Louise Wesrick, David Austin (Ruby), Dennis Austin (Bonnie) and Paul Austin.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made out to St. Catherine's Food Pantry and to the Salvation Army.
