He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Sr. Beckett and Shirley Beckett; and his siblings, Timmy Lee Beckett, Cynthia Merrill, James "Pete" Beckett and Christopher "Sam" Allen Beckett.

He is survived by: his siblings, Patrick Michael Beckett, Stephen D. Beckett (Sharron) and Carol Ann Seczawa. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
