He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert "Bob" Rock and Carolyn "Betty" Rock; and his siblings, Linda Shirkey and Loni Rock. He is survived by : his wife Julia; his daughters, Katie Marlene, Melissa Hope, Amanda Faith and Kayla Paige; his grandchildren, Jacob, Ashley, Katelyn and Audrey; his sisters, Claudia Lee (Bob Lee) and Lori King; and his in-laws, Kathy Rock and Johnny Shirkey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, July 1st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, July 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Cross Catholic Church (610 S Water St, Marine City, MI 48039).
