With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ronald Henry Ponichter (Clawson, Michigan), born in Hamtramck, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 31, 2025 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry (Lorain Ponichter) and Detroit; and his brother Dennis Ponichter. He is survived by: his daughters, Renee Harrison (Vidal), Lisa Ponichter, Annette VanderLinde (Joel) and Kristen Ponichter-Pierce (Bradley); his grandson Levi; his former wife Patricia Sliger-Ponichter; and his sisters, Barbara Finazzo and Yvonne Tringali (Sal). He is also survived by father to his four daughters.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Gramer Funeral Home (705 N Main St, Clawson, MI 48017). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Guardian Angels Catholic Church (581 14 Mile Rd, Clawson, MI 48017).
