He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill and Francis. He is survived by: his children, Bill Heist (Mahua) of Hillsborough, NC and Melissa Gibbons (Jim) of Oxford, MI; his grandchildren, Hannah, Emma, Sarah, Ibrahim and Maya; his sister Jo Anne Delicato (Gary); and his nephew Ryan Maur (Jenny).
