It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gwendolyn Violet Johnson of Clawson, Michigan, who passed away on August 12, 2023, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Hammond and Emily Hammond; her husband Basil Johnson; and her siblings, Chuck, George, Albert, Earl, Frederick, Robert Hammond, May Sinner and Alice Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, John Johnson (Sylvia), Robert L. Johnson (Jennifer) and Carolyn M. Roberts (Charles). She is also survived by her five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Memorials in Gwen's memory may be made to Spirit of Christ Lutheran Church.
