She was predeceased by: her parents, John Chapman and Elizabeth Chapman. She is survived by: her children, Art Kirby (Mary) and Sally Lozano (Mike); her brother John "Payson" Chapman (Sarah); her son Steve Kirby; and her sister Millicent Lewellen (William). She is also survived by her five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gramer Funeral Home (705 N Main St, Clawson, MI 48017). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Stephen's Episcopal Church (5500 N Adams Rd, Troy, MI 48098).
In honor of Gwen's memory, donations may be made to Saint Stephen's Episcopal Church, ensuring that her faith and song continue to inspire generations to come.
