He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard David Caleal, Sr. and Margaret Adelaide Arata. He is survived by: his wife Patricia (Flynn); his daughters, Laura Seguin (Eri) and Kate; his grandchildren, Adelaide, Grace, Georgi, Wyatt and Lumi; his siblings, Richard David, Jr. (Mayra) and Mary Geo Stephenson (Robert); and his aunt Agnes Arata Laux.
