He is survived by: his wife Mariuta; his son Mario Dumitrescu (Angela); his grandchildren, Nikko, Leila, Nicholas, Mario, Julien and Lucas Dumitrescu; and his siblings, Rodica Albota (Ion), Elena Ursu, Gheorghe Dumitrescu (Sandy) and Elisabeta Dumitrescu (Petru).
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Clawson (1368 N Crooks Rd, Clawson, MI 48017). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Nicholas Romanian Orthodox Church (5353 Livernois Rd, Troy, MI 48098).
