She was predeceased by: her grandchildren, Carl Miller, Leslie Taylor (Don), Joseph Southard, Meredith Sanislo (Andre), Shelby Sanislo (Ryan), Derrick Southard (Abby), Ariel, Matthew, James Appling (Kendra) and Michael O'Neal; her husband Joe; and her siblings, Welma LaTurneau, John Fancher (late Phyllis) and Lewis Fancher.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Miller (Al) and Ronald Southard (Diane); her great grandchildren, Celeste, Mitchell, Garrett, Levi, Sara, Emily, Malachi, Natalie, Isaiah and Nessie; her children, Lori Appling (Robin), Mary O'Neal, Betty Bigger and Gail Ware; and her godson Vance Houston.
