He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Eileen; his children, David Marshall (Carlyn), Diane Roberts (John), Audra Marshall and Sharon Howard (Michael); his grandchildren, Thomas, Ann, Leslie, Brigid, Eric and Emma; and his siblings, Lois Burgess-Trumpour and Carl Marshall.
