He was predeceased by: his wife Irene; and his daughter Heidi. He is survived by: his daughters, Erica Koerber (Randall "Scott") and Sarah Hubbach (Mark Ruckey); his grandchildren, Adam Koerber (Tory Baliko) and Heidi Koerber (Brendan Little); and his sister Lynda Alexander (Oscar).
