He was predeceased by: his son David Bloom; and his siblings, Ford Winfield, Wilbert "Web" Winfield, Chester Winfield, Isabelle Sabin and Allison Wicht.

He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his son Jeff Bloom (De Anna); and his brother-in-law L. John Holser (Doris). He is also survived by 2 grandchildren & great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Community Presbyterian Church.
