She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Michael; her children, Samantha Rash, David Rash and Sylvia McCarthy; her stepdaughters, Zoe Zapalski and Ava Zapalski; her grandson Joseph; her parents, Patsy Stiff and Joseph Stiff; her siblings, Kim Bartindale and Todd Stiff; her parents-in-law, Thaddeus and Claudia Zapalski; and her nieces and nephews, Emily Robertson and Taylor Morrissey.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for the future care and band trip of Sylvia.
