He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Eleanor; his children, Merritt Engberg Jr., Anette Engberg, Jeanette Cole Engberg, William Engberg (Teresa), Joann Abernathy (Mike) and Victoria Mazzei (Eddie); his grandchildren, Mike Robidou (Shiree), Tara Hoyt (Dustin), Brittany Skeide (Rob), Stephen Engberg (Jessica), Ryan Alexander (Cole), Brandon Abernathy, Taylor Cole, Ashley Morsehead (Jake), Mario Mazzei and Annette Mazzei; and his sister Candace Ferguson (Denny). He was also cherished by many great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lewis E. Wint and Son Funeral Home (5929 S Main St, City of the Village of Clarkston, MI 48346). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
