We are sad to announce that on April 30, 2022, at the age of 88, Melba Maxcein Humphrey of Clarkston, Michigan, born in Wilson, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Burns and Notra Burns; her spouse Festus Carl; and her children, Mike Humphrey and Denise Cordell (Bob).

She is survived by: her daughters, Theresa Olson (Bruce) and Karen Lidgard (Jim); and her siblings, Faye Smith (Roger), Benny Burns (June), Jo Ette Thaser (Kenny) and Charlotte Hendley (Danny).

Memorial donations in Melba's name may be made the St. Jude Tribute Program.
