With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Gail Willhite of Clarkston, Michigan, born in Dearborn, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 2, 2024 at the age of 76. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert McAllister and Shirley McAllister; her husband Larry Willhite; her brother Alan McAllister; her stepfather Harold Rideout; and her brother-in-law Robert Koonter.
She is survived by: her stepdaughter Cheryl Hood (Randy); her stepgranddaughters, Michelle and Rachel; her sister Marty; her nephew Robert McAllister (Heather); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Ryan, Christian and Owen.
Mary was an advocate for research of Alzheimer's disease and had participated in multiple clinical studies in the hopes that the research would prove beneficial to others. Please consider making a donation in memory of Mary to the Alzheimer's Association.
