It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry R. Armstrong of Clarkston, Michigan, who passed away on January 5, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Larry R. Armstrong to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his father Robert Armstrong; his sister Debrah Lewis; and his stepfather Gordon Shelton. He is survived by: his mother Marjorie Shelton (Schaar); his children, Troy Armstrong (Karen), Courie Armstrong Rose, Tracy Chatfield (Steve) and Mark Armstrong; his grandchildren, Robert Wardell, Jackson Rose, Randi Walker, Hannah Chatfield, Christian Chatfield, Melissa Chatfield and Sarah Chatfield; his sisters, Terry Heald (John) and Lori Goodman (Matthew); and his aunt Norma Matich. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Coats Funeral Home (3141 Sashabaw Rd, Waterford Twp, MI 48329). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Larry's memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
