He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Wern and Letha Wern; his son Jerry Wern Jr.; his sister Verna; and his brother-in-law Pete Michaels.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Wern; his daughters, Sheryl Green (Jack) and Colleen Sawyer (Tom); his grandchildren, Jonathon Sawyer (Megan), Kathleen Ranguette (Ryan), Elizabeth Lavinsky (Aaron) and Brent Green; his great grandchildren, Olivia and Ozzy Ranguette; and his sisters, Mary Olsabeck (Leroy) and Eunice Barr (Bob). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Family Funeral Care (2904 Orchard Lake Rd, Keego Harbor, MI 48320). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
