He was predeceased by: his brother Ron Lafnear; and his half-brother Charles Owen. He is survived by: his children, Jayne Bannister (William) and Steven Lafnear (Melanie Upcott); his grandchildren, Jessica Bannister (Tyler Mitchell), Alan Bannister, Emily Lafnear and Analyse Lafnear; his wife Norwegian; and also Donna Martin.
The family has encouraged memorial contributions be made directly to the church, in honor of Mr. Lafnear.
