It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Patrick McDermott of Clarkston, Michigan, who passed away on September 16, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles McDermott and Viola McDermott; and his spouse MarthaSue McDermott. He is survived by: his siblings, Charles McDermott and Carol Silvas (Dan); and his children, Michael McDermott (Myra Lynne), Debbi Popma (Dan), Ronald McDermott, John McDermott (Patricia), Sheila Collins (Brad), Julie Anne McDermott and Bethann (Bruce). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors Foundation.
