It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Leo Bennett of Clarkston, Michigan, who passed away on March 14, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis L. Bennett and Alma M. Bennett; his sister Joan Miles; and his wife Frances "Fran" Anne Reaves. He is survived by: his children, Michael Bennett (Frances), Cathy Linegar (John), Patrick Bennett (Maureen), Sherril Johnson (Charles), William Bennett and Daniel Bennett; his stepchildren, Deborah Brizzee (Scott), Corena Bell (Zac) and Lewis Kojima (Christie); his brother Richard Bennett (Jacquelyn); and his brother-in-law Donald Miles. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
