James D. Humphrey Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James D. Humphrey of Clarkston, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 30, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Claudine, Willa Mae, Ruth, Bobby Jean, Dorothy Sue, Audrey, Carl and Tom.
He is survived by: his former spouse Lequetta Joy Thorn; his children, Patricia McKee of Metamora, Alleshia Walker of Clarkston and Larry Humphrey of Goodyear, Arizona.; his wife Virgie Suedell Hill Derryberry; his stepchildren, Paula, Guy, Murray, Teresa, Alan and Darryl; and his brother Emmett Humphrey of Metamora. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, 29 great great grandchildren and 1 great great great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lewis E. Wint and Son Funeral Home (5929 S Main St, City of the Village of Clarkston, MI 48346).
