With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Floyd J. Dobson of Clarkston, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Floyd left this world on November 13, 2024 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carol; his children, Debbie Ross (Bill), Diane Gemmell (Scott), Denise Zander (Ken) and Dan Dobson; and his grandchildren, Sara Gerrits (Scott), Ryan Gemmell (Taylor), Kyle Zander (Rebecca), Haley Peck (David), Olivia Zander (Michael Maes), Andrew Ross, Matthew Ross and Jacob Dobson. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lewis E. Wint and Son Funeral Home (5929 S Main St, City of the Village of Clarkston, MI 48346). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 10:30 AM and at 11:00 AM at the St. Daniel Catholic Church (7010 Valley Park Dr, City of the Village of Clarkston, MI 48346). The military honors was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 9:45 AM and at 10:00 AM at the Great Lakes National Cemetery (4200 Belford Rd, Holly, MI 48442).
