She was predeceased by: her nephew Jacob Zian; her parents, John Zian and Helen Zian; and her former husband Dr. Gheorghe Marinescu. She is survived by: her brother John Zian (Jay); her nieces and nephews, Joshua Zian (Melissa), Viktor, Vlad, Andrea and Anca Marinescu; her great-nephew Joseph Zian; and her sister-in-law Annette Krecek.
