She was predeceased by: her parents, William Charles Sr. and Doris Helen Schaffert; her brother William Charles Schaffert Jr.; and her nephew William Charles Schaffert III. She is survived by: her nephews, Daren Scott Schaffert (Karen), Shawn Brian Schaffert (Sherry) and Le'Ann Carol Steele (Todd); her niece-in-law Christine Schaffert; her sister-in-law Carol Vernell Schaffert; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Austin, Erika, Kylie, Chelsea, Sophie, Macie and Benton; and her pet SuZ.
