He is survived by: his children, Melissa Lurie (Bob), Timothy Oniu and Lisa Morrison; his grandchildren, Timothy Naumann (Jennifer Walkaus), Robert Lurie (Melissa Larson), Jason Lurie (Nechama), John Lurie (Gillian), Matthew and Lauren Morrison; his great grandchildren, Evalene Naumann, Maya and Lilyana Lurie; his nieces and nephews, Carole Snow, Margaret Dixon, Douglas, Daniel Onieu, Gregory Oniu, Rosemary Oniu, Dianne Boyd, Christopher and Peter Vanciu; his sister-in-law Barbara Vanciu; and his godchildren, Gust Schvarkopf, Lori Gross and Christopher Vanciu. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
