He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Slating and Vernita Slating; and his son Erik Kevin Slating. He is survived by: his wife Linda Slating; and his children, David Mark Slating, Monica Slating and Brian Slating. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, as well as numerous relatives and friends.
Memorial donations may be made in David's name to the Oakland County Sportsmen's Club, who have been proudly promoting conservation and sportsmanship since 1943, two things very close to David's heart.
