He was predeceased by: his sisters, Debra and Brenda. He is survived by: his spouse Robin; his mother Hope Hicks (late Jimmie); his children, Roxanne, Danielle, Braxton (Ashley), Joshua and Proud; his grandchild Jude William; and his siblings, Jamer Hicks (Sheri), Yolanda Reimer (Rick) and Tonya Hicks.
In lieu of flowers, the family has encouraged memorial donations may be made to an organization very close to Dan's heart, the Alpha-1 Foundation.
