She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Arthur Rains and Violet Rains (Jackson); her children, Jeff Sams, Shawn Sams and Alicia Cerulla (Christopher); her grandchildren, Aaron Sams, Ryan Sams (Moe), Brandon Sams, Amanda Sams, Jacob Sams, Jesse Sams, Nolan Cerulla (Elizabeth) and Aldyn Cerulla; her sisters, Helen Rouse, Gloria LaClair and Judy Peel; her husband Hershel Sams; her son Ricky Sams; and her sister Phyllis Sommers.
