He was predeceased by: his wife Larena "Rennie"; and his sister Vivian Michaels. He is survived by: his child Kelly Pena (Victor); his grandchildren, Manuel and Layla Pena; his nieces and nephews, Shawn Michaels (Cheryl) and Michele Rogers; his great-nephews, Austin and Tyler Rogers; and his siblings-in-law, Brian LaBarge (Ria), Gina Daniels (Kevin), Bert and S. Navy.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Lewis E. Wint and Son Funeral Home (5929 S Main St, City of the Village of Clarkston, MI 48346). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
