With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Hastings (Clarklake, Michigan), who passed away on February 2, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Ponto and Mary Alice Ponto (Coleman); her husband John A. Hastings, Jr.; her son Glen Hastings; and her siblings, Irene Brown (Ponto), Constance King (Ponto), Dorothy Brown (Ponto) and Robert Ponto.
She is survived by: her children, Irene, Constance, Robert, Dorothy, Donald, Richard, Judith and Janet; her sister Connie; her children, Carol, Linn, Linda Erdmann (Kenneth) of Buckeye, AZ, John Hastings (Barbara) of Timmonsville, SC, Karen Merriman (Russ) of Jerome, MI and Kevin Hastings (Kelsey) of Northville, MI.; her grandchildren, Susan, Mark Hastings (Heather), Kelly Hastings, Steven Erdmann, Tracy Polling, Lisa Koop, Phillip Hastings (Shannon), Katie Hsu, Gerald Nostrant, Jr. (Cassey), Deborah Wheaton (Brian) and Amanda Hastings; her great grandchildren, David Leathers, Jr., William Leathers, Stephanie Temple, Haley Kress, Sam, Rebecca, Emily Hastings, Jack Hastings, Alex Poling, Alyssa Chacon, Caleb Hastings, Mara Hastings, Nadine Nostrant, Colton Nostrant, Madelyn Wheaton and Shannon Coennen; her great great grandchild Mavis Luna Leathers; and her siblings, Donald Ponto (Marilyn), Richard, Judith Ponto and Janet. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
