He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lehr Barkenquest and Neitha Barkenquest (Cox); his sister Janice Ann Bragg of Bradenton, FL; his nephews, Norman, Timothy and Brian Bragg; and his niece Julie Blackwell. He was also cherished by six great nephews and three great-great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Rita Catholic Church or the Oblates of St. Francis de Sales Retirement Fund.
