She was predeceased by: her adoptive parents, Wayne Hessemer and Thelma Hessemer; and her stepmother Mary Lou Hessemer. She is survived by: her children, Ronald and Cynthia; her grandson Franklin; her brothers, Max, Scott and David Gormley; and her husband Walter.
The family has asked that any donations be given to the Brooklyn Food Pantry.
