She was predeceased by: her parents, Pauline Russell and Anton Russell; her son Dale Friesen (Agnes); her husband Harold Friesen; and her siblings, Olga Schultz and Roy Russell.
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Tennis (Tim), Scott Friesen (Sue), Anne Rebandt (Robert) and Tracy Maldarella (Chris); and her grandchildren, Heidi Shorter, Mark Tennis (Melissa), Isaac Friesen, Jacob Friesen, Rachel Carbone (Ryan), Joseph Daniel Friesen (Madalyn), Samuel Friesen, Marcy Kelleher (Michael), Paul Rebandt (Samantha), Melanie Rebandt, Joseph Dale Friesen, Mark Friesen, Luke Maldarella Dolson (Emelia), Caely Maldarella and Cristin Maldarella.
