He was predeceased by: his son Theodore Schroeder (Carla); and his stepfather Cecil Warner. He is survived by: his son Herbert; his wife Roberta Schroeder (Barnes); his children, Dave (Yvonne) of Coleman, Joe (Mike) of Pennsylvania and Peggy Stephens (Bill) of Clare; his grandchildren, Tony Schroeder (Shelli), Kristi Griffith (Zach), Kati Wysong (Brian), Matt Schroeder (Emilie), Andy Schroeder (Kasey), Kayla Simon (Tyler) and Haley Stephens (Jake); and his great grandchildren, Morgan, Kaleb, Isabel, Madalyn, Natalie and Luke.
