She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Slater and Frances Slater (Williams); and her husband Jerry Ackerman. She is survived by: her children, Debbie Dassay (Greg), Duane Ackerman (Tara) and Dawn Martin; her daughter-in-law Sheryl Ackerman (Danny); her stepdaughter Janet Kuntz (Ray); her friend Duane "Butch" Mann; her sisters, Maryann Barnhart and Shirley Mann (Doyle); and also Tina Hinkle. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, several step grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, several step great grandchildren and 2 step great great grandchildren.
