It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tex Marland LaVoye of Clare, Michigan, who passed away on March 25, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lewis LaVoye and Mabel LaVoye (Sieting); his wife Leona Eleanor Atkinson; his children, David LaVoye of Harrison, Diann Turnwald (Tony) of Harrison, Keith LaVoye (Tammy) of Hersey, Kevin LaVoye of Clare and Karen Owens (Matt) of Clare; his grandchildren, Cody LaVoye, Amanda LaVoye, Taylor Owens, Keagen Owens, Logan Owens, Alannah Turnwald, Daina Turnwald, Shelbi Valencia (Chris) and Sarah Alexander; and his sister Lola Scarborough of Cadillac. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
