In the sacred silence of farewell, Richard is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Richard's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Ellis II and Muriel Engelston; and his son Richard G. Ellis IV. He is survived by: his wife Vicky; his sons, Chris Ellis (Leann) of Mt. Pleasant and Matt Ellis (Tina) of Clare; and his sisters, Kathy Ellis (Edward) of Oswego, NY, Tina Arcadi of Oswego, NY and Terrie Cooper of Oswego, NY. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
A reception will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Clare Farwell American Legion (400 E Ludington Dr, Farwell, MI 48622).
